Early prostate cancer detection

Prostate carcinomas are the most common tumor diseases in men, but mortality is relatively low. This means that, when detected in time, a prostate carcinoma that requires treatment has an excellent overall prognosis. The MRI prostate exam is performed in close cooperation with our registered colleagues, particularly urologists, and can supplement their exams. The MRI prostate exam using PI-RADS has very high sensitivity and accuracy for non-invasive identification of prostate carcinoma. The Radiology Baden-Baden practice has many years of expertise in the field of MRI prostate imaging. Particularly for patients with unclear PSA increases, following a negative punch biopsy, a prostate MRI can be helpful to the responsible urologist.
