التصوير الشعاعي الرقمي
Classic X-ray imaging using digital technology is still the technique of choice for many cases and is sufficient to answer many questions.
X-rays are electromagnetic waves that are produced by an X-ray tube for medical purposes. They were discovered by Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen in Würzburg in 1895. The X-rays produced in the X-ray equipment are sent through the region of the body being examined, then the photons that have passed through are directed to a digital detector system to produce the image. Modern image processing systems allow the best possible image quality with a very low dosage of radiation.
In the Radiology Baden-Baden practice, we use a latest-generation digital X-ray system, which guarantees minimal radiation doses for our patients. The dose is precisely captured and documented.
We perform the following examinations:
- Thorax
- Bones and joints
- Full leg images
- Spine
- Abdomen
- Head, particularly paranasal sinuses
- etc.
