Warte- und Aufenthaltszeiten versuchen wir in unserer Praxis zu minimieren, Abstand der Patienten untereinander ist in unseren Wartebereichen gewährleistet. Soweit möglich sollten Sie nicht von anderen Personen zur Untersuchung begleitet werden.

Imaging of the prostate by MRI is a focus of practice. In order to convey the possibilities and developments of this technique to affected patients, but also to an interested group of people, Prof. Plathow regularly reports on this important topic. The Diploma of the European Society of Scaletal Radiology (ESSR) became a shareholder of Radiologie Baden-Baden, Prof. Dr. med. Christian Plathow, in a festive event during this year’s ESSR in Amsterdam. The diploma confirms the many years of activity and advanced training in the field of Musculoskeletal Radiology – a focus of practice for many years. New modern double-head camera installed in nuclear medicine
With the installation of a new modern double-head camera, the Radiologie Baden-Baden practice at Stadtklinik can now offer state-of-the-art nuclear medicine imaging. Emphasis will continue to be on cardiac imaging (myocardial scintigraphy), thyroid diagnostics, bone scintigraphy (skeletal scintigraphy) as well as special examinations such as the depiction of sentinel lymph nodes (e.g. to be in breast cancer. The camera is placed in the modernized, bright premises in the city hospital location.
Over 1500 cardiac examinations with cardiac MRI
For many years, cardiac imaging with cardiac CT (coronary CT) with the currently lowest-radiation CT in the region (SIEENS Edge, 128-Zeiler), myocardial scintigraphy and cardiac MRI has been a focus of Radiologie Baden-Baden practice. Partners of the practice speak regularly about the topic and have accordingly certified qualifications with national and international societies (among other things level III (trainer status) with the SCMR (Society of Cardiac Magnetic Resonance)). The highest quality in this complex area of imaging can only be guaranteed if a corresponding amount of examinations are carried out and the subject is regularly dealt with. With over 1500 cardio-MRI examinations in cooperation with an experienced local cardiologist this is given. Highest quality and a close cooperation with a cardiologist also guarantee cardiac diagnostics at the highest level.

The practice continues to occupy an exceptional position in the region – it is the only academic teaching practice for radiology in the whole of Baden-Württemberg.
